I’m no big deal. There are lots of people smarter and more accomplished than I am. But I’ve been walking with Jesus for a long time and I’ve learned a few things, many the hard way. I’ve spent my life sharing those things as a preacher, teacher, author, father, grandfather, and friend.
If you want specifics, I’ve been the preaching minister at Poinciana Christian Church in Kissimmee, Florida since 1989. I’ve also written ten books. Some people find that hard to believe. I’m one of them.
I have a great family. My wife, Marilyn, and I have been married since 1975. I have one daughter, Michelle, who has given me two of the cutest granddaughters a guy could ever have. Alyssa and Alexis help keep me young. And laughing.
On the personal side, I play the sax, softball, and golf, though none of them as well as I’d like. I also collect jazz records (yes, records…those flat, round, black, vinyl things with holes in the middle). My teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Orlando Magic. And I have a passion for books. I read them and write them.
I have a great life. God has been far better to me than I deserve. To him be the glory.
